1. Analysis of current situation of power quality in rail transit industry
Electric locomotive has the advantages of large power, strong overload capacity, large traction, fast speed, etc. Both motor cars and high-speed trains are electric locomotives, which have been widely used in China's rail transit construction. The electric energy required by the electric locomotive is supplied by the catenary or the third rail of the electrified railway power supply system. It is a kind of locomotive that does not carry its own energy. The typical feature of the electric locomotive is single-phase power supply, which is easy to cause three-phase load imbalance and low power factor of the power grid during operation.
2. Solutions
ISVG shall be installed at appropriate locations along the railway to balance three-phase power grid and improve power factor through the split phase fast compensation function of iSVG. When the traction system is connected to a weak power grid, the voltage support capability of iSVG is used to fully improve the traction power supply capability, improve the utilization rate of traction transformers and other equipment, and effectively suppress the low-frequency oscillation of the system.
